Clean & Green City Campaign by Almond Hospitality Group… Saturday 3rd September. As early as from 5.45am, the group’s CEO and 70 volunteers made up of the management and staff, can be seen picking up rubbish comprising plastics of all kings-bottles, bags, straws, cigarette butts etc in the surrounding of its restaurant, Yi Sang Riverside, along Sisowath Quay riverfront.
“We want our restaurant guests to enjoy not only good food but also a clean environment around our location. With the country’s increase in arrivals, we want the tourists, business travellers and investors, to enjoy a clean and green Phnom Penh especially at one of the tourist hubs, Riverside.
I hope that Almond will set a precedence to all the others to keep their surrounding places clean and green. If we work together, I am sure that we will achieve a Clean & Green Phnom Penh City.” quoted Mr Luu Meng.
